There are many rea­sons to breast­feed includ­ing health ben­e­fits for you and your baby, as well as cost sav­ings. Breast­feed­ing is a learned skill and this com­pli­men­ta­ry class will pre­pare you for what to expect, cov­er com­mon prob­lems and pro­vide guid­ance on what to do should you find your­self strug­gling with breast­feed­ing. Key fea­tures include:

  • How to latch your baby comfortably
  • How to pre­vent engorge­ment and sore nipples
  • How to know if your baby is get­ting enough milk

This class is led by Car­ol Cham­blin, DNP, APN, RN, an Inter­na­tion­al Board Cer­ti­fied Lac­ta­tion Consultant.
