I have a passion for working with patients who are seeking to improve their health and wellness, with a specialty in bariatric psychology, obesity, and addictions. I take a down-to-earth approach and aim to fully understand my patients, without judgement, in order to provide the best treatment tailored to their goals and health needs. I believe the interplay between health conditions and psychology is a complex one and I aim to approach patient treatment holistically, factoring in many facets that can impact one’s health and wellness. I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to my work with patients, emphasizing the best fit for each patient. This can include psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and acceptance and commitment approaches. I am also well-versed in 12 step work.
