I approach therapy through focusing on developing and healing ones relationship with self and others through which various issues of mood, identity, and personal functioning are explored. My patients and I collaborate to identify an ideal treatment approach that best suites their needs and reasons for seeking treatment. Everyone has moments in life when they need the support of a trusted individual, who can help them to conceptualize and strategize ways to build the life they want. As a social worker and therapist for over 10 years with an expertise in trauma focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interveiwing (MI), I can assist you in connecting with the best of who you are and who you are willing to strive to become. I utilize up-to-date evidence based practices derived from cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness principles. These approaches are tailored to each individual patient to ensure treatment is client-centered and aligns with what each patient is seeking out of treatment. Your comfort is essential to a successful treatment journey. Together, we can achieve any personal goal you set out to achieve.
