BioCorneum®+ is an advanced silicone treatment with SPF30 for minimizing the appearance of scars while its UV protection helps guard from aggravating effects of the sun such as increased redness and hyperpigmentation. Once applied, BioCorneum® forms an invisible silicone sheet over the affected area. This protective barrier is breathable, flexible, and water-proof.
BioCorneum®+ protects the underlying tissue from chemical, microbial and physical invasion of scar tissue. This silicone gel may be used on scars resulting from cosmetic and surgical procedures, trauma, wounds, and burns and is effective on both old and new scars. It is the first and only FDA-cleared topical silicone scare treatments with SPF, which may protect scars from discoloration and redness caused by sun exposure. DIRECTIONS
