Clinical Interests
I have been practicing as a clinical psychologist for over 25 years and I love it. Currently, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults 15 and older in individual and couples therapy. I also provide parenting interventions for all ages, and especially enjoy helping families parenting emerging adults. My treatment approach tends to be goal-oriented including cognitive behavioral therapy as well as developmental and family systems theories. Models such as ACT, IFS, Exposure/Response Prevention, and Mindfulness are commonly used. My clinical experience includes treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adjustment and transition issues, grief counseling, communication and relationship issues, parenting, and stress management. I also work well with families and couples around struggles related to divorce or separation.
Personal Interests
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, and two dogs. Anything outdoors is my sweet spot. I’m also a big sports fan and enjoy serving at my church.
