I believe the best health care starts with listening. I approach each patient as a whole person and work to understand their experiences, priorities, and goals. I see my role as both a health care provider and a health information translator—helping patients understand what is happening in their bodies, make sense of their options, and feel confident making decisions about their care. I am especially passionate about normalizing the parts of gynecologic health that have historically been poorly understood, difficult to talk about, or surrounded by shame. I practice with a trauma-informed lens and strive to create a space where no question feels embarrassing or off-limits. My goal is for patients to leave our visits feeling heard, respected, informed, and more comfortable and confident in understanding their own health.
