I see myself as a partner in my patients' heart health, not just their electrophysiologist. When someone comes to me with atrial fibrillation, palpitations, or questions about their ICD, I know they're often nervous or frustrated. So I start by listening—not just to their heart rhythm, but to how they're sleeping, exercising, working, and feeling day to day. I avoid rushed talk and instead use simple analogies, drawings, and real conversation to make sure they truly understand what's going on. What makes my style unique? I love the high-tech side—ablations, pacemakers, complex procedures—but I also care deeply about the little things that matter day-to-day, like stress, caffeine, alcohol, sleep, and safe exercise. I help patients living with ICDs or heart rhythm conditions find ways to stay active and feel better emotionally, too. My goal is simply this: treat the whole person, not just the arrhythmia, and make decisions together in a way that feels clear, respectful, and even a little warm.

In addition to my core practice in cardiac electrophysiology, I have a focused interest and training in advanced rhythm control for atrial fibrillation, including complex catheter ablation. I am experienced in managing ventricular tachycardia, cardiac resynchronization therapy for heart failure, supraventricular tachycardia, bradyarrhythmias, syncope, and inherited syndromes such as long QT syndrome. I also support patients in addressing lifestyle and wellness factors that affect arrhythmias, including triggers like alcohol, caffeine, stress, and sleep deprivation. I provide guidance on safe exercise for those with ICDs or channelopathies, dietary counseling for patients on warfarin, and attention to the mental health aspects of living with a cardiac device or chronic arrhythmia. My goal is personalized, whole-patient care grounded in evidence and shared decision-making.
