I think all people have within them the inner strength to find their way out of difficult times. I am blessed to be there with them and guide them so they can find their inner strength, on their journey to hope, healing, and empowerment.”

Dr Arif enjoys using a patient-centered approach” for treating people that involve not just psychiatric medications, but also supportive therapy and psychological education. He likes to empower the people he treats by giving them the tools and knowledge to make positive changes. Knowledge is empowering” he likes to quote. The more you know, the more motivation you will have to think in a different, more positive way, and make positive changes in your life.”

Dr Arif likes to incorporate genetic testing (when appropriate) and has been actively involved in procedures to treat depression, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). He also likes to incorporate clinical concepts from functional medicine, treating people from a holistic approach, education about lifestyle, diet, exercise changes and avoidance of environmental and dietary toxins that contribute to illness.

When he is not working, Dr Arif enjoys hobbies such as aviation and personal fitness, and is an active musician, playing guitar, piano and drums.
