As a nurse practitioner, my philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, respect, and evidence-based practice. I believe in treating the whole person — not just the illness — by considering the physical, emotional, and social aspects of health. I strive to build trusting relationships with my patients through active listening, shared decision-making, and education. My goal is to empower individuals to take an active role in their health and well-being, and to provide care that is accessible, inclusive, and culturally sensitive.

Clinical Interests
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have a strong interest in chronic disease management — particularly diabetes, heart disease and hypertension — as well as preventative care across the lifespan. I’m passionate about educating patients and helping them understand how small lifestyle changes can make a big difference in their long-term health. I also really enjoy working with deverse populations and building lasting, trusting relationships through primary care. Staying up to date with evidence-based guidelines and health promotion strategies is something I value so I can continue improving outcomes for my patients.
Personal Interests
Outside of being a nurse practitioner, I really value balance and staying connected to things that bring me joy. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places and learning about cultures, which helps me stay open-minded and curious — qualities I bring into patient care as well. I’m an avid reader and love getting lost in a good book, whether it’s fiction, autobiographical or something educational. I also unwind by watching movies with my family and spending time in my garden — it’s my way to relax and recharge. These hobbies help me maintain a sense of well-being and keep me grounded, which ultimately makes me a better provider.
