I prac­tice med­i­cine based on patient cen­tered and col­lab­o­ra­tive care. Being able to under­stand each patien­t’s sto­ry, val­ues and goals so the treat­ment plan/​decisions reflect what mat­ters to them and their care is impor­tant. Being able to treat not just the diag­no­sis but the patient is key. Col­lab­o­ra­tion with the team is vital because we work with a lot of peo­ple in the hos­pi­tal. My style is defined by a com­pas­sion­ate approach; part­ner­ing with the patient, fam­i­ly and all providers so the patient can get the best care is what it is all about.
