I have dedicated my nursing career to the specialty of oncology, and it holds a special place in my heart. It is important for me to give the best individualized treatment plan to my patients, while maintaining a close relationship, to ensure all of their needs are met. A cancer diagnosis is scary, but I want my patients and their families to know I will be there with them every step of the way.

I love to try new recipes, run, workout, watch football, and any activity outdoors.

Melissa is AMAZING. During my recent visit, an unexpected health issue arose...this issue was not the reason for my visit, and it didn't officially fall within Melissa's scope of my care (which is related to my cancer history). As a result, I have scheduled an appointment with my PCP. However, Melissa has gone above and beyond to care for me and ensure my safety until the appointment with my PCP. She has regularly checked in with me via email to make sure I'm OK and provided generous communication/guidance in the event of concerning symptoms outside regular office hours. Melissa has always been patient and supportive - never making me feel rushed; but her recent care for me really shows just how exceptional she is...I have seen MANY HCPs (given my cancer history) - Melissa sets herself apart and I cannot praise her enough. Please let her know she IS making a difference.
