I believe in patient centered care that involves respectful, compassionate and open communication between the patient, their family members and myself. I thoroughly discussed their diagnosis, and treatment options; including the most up-to-date minimally invasive surgical approaches, as well as nonsurgical treatment options. I work with the patient to decide on what will be the best treatment option for their individual needs.

"I can't begin to tell you how pleased and at ease I was with Dr. Martirano. I did not know anything about him or his surgical philosophy beforehand but while meeting and talking with him, I knew I had found the surgeon I had prayed for. He was personable, knowledgeable and thorough; his surgical procedures and protocols were of the newest technology. Although I wish I did not need an operation, I will be going into this one with complete confidence and trust in his skills."
