I believe in patient centered care that involves respectful, compassionate and open communication between the patient, their family members and myself. I thoroughly discussed their diagnosis, and treatment options; including the most up-to-date minimally invasive surgical approaches, as well as nonsurgical treatment options. I work with the patient to decide on what will be the best treatment option for their individual needs.

"Dr. Martirano knew my health history before he walked in the door of the room. He was prepared and had alternate treatments in mind before we would even consider surgery. This was comforting and he was very patient and showed me my CT and what he looks for as well as ordered an extensive blood panel. He is a very pragmatic person."
