My practice encompasses all aspects of general gastroenterology and hepatology. I have additional interest and expertise in esophageal diseases (including GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis and motility disorders), inflammatory bowel disease, disorders of gut-brain interaction, fatty liver disease and complex polyp resection. Disease and cancer prevention is a primary focus.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, prioritizing health and fitness, honing my cooking skills, traveling, and obsessing over Detroit and University of Michigan sports.

The staff and Dr. Chehl were great as always, both professionally and personally.
This was my first time with Dr. Chehl since Dr. Alan Wang left Duly. We are just at the introductory stage and it will take time to know him and vice versa. He answered my questions and concerns about my Ultrasound liver situation and is ordering the next stage level of testing (Fibroscan) to get a better picture. I feel it was good but he seemed nervous which is to be expected. Trust is earned so we shall see how future visits goes. He was very professional and pleasant and answered my questions. I still have more. My husband and I have our annual gastrology appt in November.
