Ryan Goldenstein, PsyD
Behavioral & Mental Health, Brain to Behavior Program, Counseling
I believe therapy should work for the patient. My primary approach is one rooted in CBT and DBT therapies, but I also have training in Person-Centered, Object Relations, REBT, Solution-Focused, and other techniques. I try to utilize what appears to work best for the patient while providing the support and guidance necessary for growth, as well as listen to the patient’s feedback to ensure the time spent with me is beneficial for them.
Behavioral & Mental Health insurance coverage varies by provider.
Prior to scheduling with a Behavioral & Mental Health (IPD) provider, please confirm with your insurance carrier that this provider is considered in-network and covered by your insurance plan.
My areas of interest include working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, personality differences, substance abuse, serious mental illnesses (e.g., Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, Bipolar Disorder) and interpersonal communication. I also have many years experience providing psychological and neuropsychological testing, both for individuals during self-exploration and those individuals involved within the court system.
My hobbies include playing my guitar, riding my bicycle, working on my car (when necessary), and most outdoor activities (e.g., hiking, fishing, etc.).
