My approach is collaborative and child-centered. Parents know their children better than we do, but we know medicine better than they do (generally!), so we have to work together to care for their children. I enjoy developing a solid relationship and open dialogue with families. I will usually speak directly to the child & allow them to speak for themselves (when age-appropriate), will work to empower them to make appropriate choices about their health, and am not afraid to do my exam on the floor under the table if need-be!

"I love Dr Fose. She is personable, friendly, and realistic. Her recommendations are rooted in evidence based practice and guidelines which are further supported by her experience as a doctor and mother. I would not hesitate to recommend her (or her partners) to anyone that asks. I'm so grateful I chose her for my daughter's care."

"Dr. Fose is an amazing pediatrician. She is so thorough and speaks directly to my daughter. my daughter is a teenager, and Dr Fose just knew how to interact with her without sounding like an authoritarian. she is just great. Very down to earth and not rushed at all. she is focused and has an amazing professional demeanor while making her patients feel like they are talking to a family member- that's a really hard skill to acquire in the medical field under time constraints and pressures of modern medicine."
