Outside of medicine, I enjoy family time. I have 3 grown kids and two grandchildren, whom I cannot find enough time for. I’m also a sports fan, soccer is my favorite to watch, but am a big fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Blackhawks. And, if I have any time left over, I enjoy refinishing furniture.

My overall love for cardiology started in the hospital setting, managing the very prevalent hypertension and educating patients on lifestyle changes to keep them from experiencing the long-term side effects. However, It does not stop there. I really believe in the importance of heart failure education.
