I’ve been in healthcare for nearly 9 years, and all 9 years have been in cardiology. I’m so excited to continue this work. It is my passion to help and advocate for patients so they can receive the best care possible.

My overall love for cardiology started in the hospital setting, managing the very prevalent hypertension and educating patients on lifestyle changes to keep them from experiencing the long-term side effects. However, It does not stop there. I really believe in the importance of heart failure education. Educating patients on medications and the importance of compliance and following up with their doctor appointments is paramount in keeping patients
Outside of medicine, I enjoy family time. I have 3 grown kids and two grandchildren, whom I cannot find enough time for. I’m also a sports fan, soccer is my favorite to watch, but am a big fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Blackhawks. And, if I have any time left over, I enjoy refinishing furniture.
