Dr. Joshi and her team are amazing.
Dr. Joshi ordered blood tests which proved beneficial as two of the tests revealed a problem that was not noted previously by my other doctors.
During my most recent post-op ileus hospitalization, Dr. Joshi kept up with all the test results and evaluations by the doctors at CDH, most notably Dr. Goel from rheumatology, so she could let me know right away whether or not my lupus was a likely cause for the symptoms I was experiencing from pneumatosis intestinialis, a rare illness. She agreed with Dr. Goel's assessment that lupus activity had not increased, so there was no need to increase the meds hydroxychloroquine, nor prednisone. She has ordered follow-up tests, and asked me to return for another OV.
