Update on Medicare Telemedicine Coverage-View More
When a person is diagnosed with heart failure, they often feel overwhelmed. Usually they are hospitalized, feeling very ill. The good news is there are many options to improve the overall heart function including medications, device therapy or surgery if indicated. Working closely with a provider specializing in heart failure can lead to an improved quality-of-life, doing things you may not have been able to do before becoming ill. We do this by individualizing care utilizing evidence-based guidelines and treating people holistically. I treat my patients as I would my family. It is my passion and joy to care for and guide you on your journey to better health!
I enjoy the outdoors, traveling with and spending time with my husband and adult children, hiking, boating, camping, gardening, music festivals, art festivals, cooking/baking and exploring new dining options, and spending time at the beach.

I enjoy partnering with my patients as we optimize and individualize their heart failure management. We achieved this together by closely monitoring symptoms, adjusting medications, recommending and supporting lifestyle changes, collaborating with other specialties and referring to advanced therapies if indicated. This allows people to flourish to be their best despite having heart failure.
