I try to care for every patient with the same compassion, attention, and respect that I would want for my own family member. Heart rhythm problems can be stressful and confusing, and I believe patients deserve a physician who listens closely, explains things clearly, and helps them feel comfortable with the plan.
My approach is to understand not only the rhythm problem itself, but also how it is affecting your day-to-day life. Some patients need reassurance and careful monitoring, while others may benefit from medications, a procedure, or a cardiac device. I believe the best treatment decisions are made together, using the best available medical evidence while also considering your goals, concerns, and preferences.
I have always been drawn to understanding complex systems, and electrophysiology is a field where careful problem-solving can make a meaningful difference in a patient’s quality of life. My goal is for you and your family to feel heard, informed, and confident that your care is being approached thoughtfully and personally.

As a cardiac electrophysiologist, I specialize in evaluating and treating abnormal heart rhythms, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular arrhythmias, palpitations, unexplained fainting, slow heart rhythms, and conduction system disease. I perform catheter ablation procedures for atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT, premature ventricular contractions, and ventricular tachycardia.
I also implant and manage cardiac rhythm devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, and leadless pacemakers. My goal is to help patients understand their condition, review the available treatment options clearly, and choose a plan that fits their individual needs. I try to use the tools of electrophysiology thoughtfully to help patients feel better, reduce risk when possible, and improve quality of life.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and friends. I like playing golf, reading, listening to music, and exploring Chicago’s restaurants and neighborhoods. I also enjoy traveling and learning about history and different cultures.
