My practice encompasses all aspects of general gastroenterology and hepatology. I have additional interest and expertise in esophageal diseases (including GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis and motility disorders), inflammatory bowel disease, disorders of gut-brain interaction, fatty liver disease and complex polyp resection. Disease and cancer prevention is a primary focus.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, prioritizing health and fitness, honing my cooking skills, traveling, and obsessing over Detroit and University of Michigan sports.

Doctor was new to me, and I really get anxious on the first visit, especially if it's a male doctor. The minute he came in and introduced himself and shook my hand, I already felt relaxed. He seemed to be concerned about my issues and concerns and had a lot of thoughts and suggestions about my problems.I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
