McKenna was great and very attentive. I had two issues, though. During my full body scan and while I was on the examination table, a young man walked into the room without knocking. He had dark hair and was wearing a mask. When he saw me wearing only a gown and vulnerable, instead of apologizing and leaving immediately, he said he needed to get something out of the drawer and then proceeded to walk in and grab something. This seemed incredibly unprofessional. McKenna seemed quite embarrassed as well, and said this was his usual examination room to try to explain why some young guy just barged in.My second issue was with the prescription. She said that insurance wouldn't cover it, and to just go downstairs to pick it up in the medspa. When I went to the medspa, I was given a 1 ounce tube and $59. On the drive home, I received a notification from Walgreens pharmacy that my prescription for the exact same type of medication was ready for pick up. I only cost $20 and the tube was twice as big. Apparently, insurance did, in fact, cover it. I did not know that she had put the prescription through Walgreens, or I would never have paid the medspa price which is outrageous. McKenna made it sound like medspa was the only option. As a PA, I will certainly go back to her, though.

Makena did an amazing job addressing all my concerns and walking me through the process. She took her time and was extremely empathetic and compassionate. Highly recommend.
