My training at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, a leading orthopaedic hospital, created a strong desire to educate my patients regarding their neck and back condition, as I believe a well-informed patient can better participate during a joint decision-making process. I am focused on maximizing the overall patient experience and streamlining high-quality spine care for my patients.
I enjoy travelling, exploring new cultures and cuisines. I also have a passion for cooking and therefore eating! I enjoy challenging myself physically, whether its training for a marathon, prepping for a mountain climb or hitting the slopes. I love my job, family and hobbies immensely and constantly seek a healthy work life balance.

Dr. Patel has performed two spinal surgeries on me, the second one being yesterday. Outcomes in both cases have been excellent. Dr. Patel, his staff, and the staff at the Westmont surgical center have been great to work with. Office visits and surgical center visits are timely and well run. Most importantly, Dr. Patel and the staff In both locations have done an excellent job of making me feel welcome and fbeing focused on my care. Questions and requests for assistance are responded to promptly and with a positive affect. No question is considered too small.
