Ovarian Cancer


Caused by the growth of malig­nant cells in the uterus, caus­ing tumors and the spread of the can­cer­ous cells to oth­er parts of the body. You may be more at risk for ovar­i­an can­cer if you are old­er, have a fam­i­ly his­to­ry of ovar­i­an or breast can­cer or if you nev­er had a child or had a child lat­er in life. Some symp­toms include increased uri­na­tion, bloat­ing, low­er back pain, pelvic or abdom­i­nal pain and pain dur­ing intercourse.
