I enjoy hav­ing the oppor­tu­ni­ty to pro­vide ongo­ing care to my patients as a pri­ma­ry care physi­cian. My train­ing encour­aged my to devel­op ongo­ing rela­tion­ships with patients over their life­time, so I val­ue the patient/​physician rela­tion­ship. I believe one of my strengths is the abil­i­ty to be an active lis­ten­er. I hope to pro­mote good health habits by team­ing up with my patients, under­stand­ing their goals, and help­ing them to be the health­i­est they can be. I enjoy patients of all ages and back­grounds. I believe I can be a valu­able ally in help­ing to direct patients to excel­lent spe­cial­ists when necessary.

The bulk of what I do is divid­ed between gen­er­al well­ness care and man­age­ment of mul­ti­ple chron­ic dis­eases such as hyper­ten­sion, dia­betes, heart dis­ease, obe­si­ty, aller­gies, asth­ma, etc.. Our patient pop­u­la­tion ranges from ages 0 – 100+.

Personal Interests

I am an avid fresh­wa­ter fish­er­man, but enjoy many out­door activ­i­ties. I have a wood-shop at home and enjoy most aspects of home con­struc­tion and repair. I love to paint (hous­es, not can­vas). Most win­ter evenings I real­ly enjoy doing puz­zles if I can’t go outdoors.
