The physi­cian-patient rela­tion­ship is a part­ner­ship based on mutu­al trust, hon­esty and respect. Each patient has a mind, body and spir­it and it is impor­tant to address all three of these com­po­nents in order to deliv­er high qual­i­ty, com­pre­hen­sive and com­pas­sion­ate care. The role as a fam­i­ly physi­cian is to deliv­er unbi­ased care start­ing from birth and through­out a patient’s life. As a fam­i­ly physi­cian I val­ue the sacred rela­tion­ship between physi­cian and patient and I am hon­ored to par­tic­i­pate in improv­ing the health and well-being of others.
