As an audiologist, I’m grateful to be able to advocate for my patients’ needs and help them gain/regain access to sounds and improve their communication abilities with their loved ones. I love listening to my patients’ stories and assess their particular needs in order to treat not just the diagnosis but the person as a whole. I also love teaching about hearing conservation and emphasizing the importance of hearing protection.
