As an audi­ol­o­gist, I’m grate­ful to be able to advo­cate for my patients’ needs and help them gain/​regain access to sounds and improve their com­mu­ni­ca­tion abil­i­ties with their loved ones. I love lis­ten­ing to my patients’ sto­ries and assess their par­tic­u­lar needs in order to treat not just the diag­no­sis but the per­son as a whole. I also love teach­ing about hear­ing con­ser­va­tion and empha­siz­ing the impor­tance of hear­ing protection.

Clinical Interests

My inter­ests con­sist of com­pre­hen­sive audio­met­ric test­ing for pedi­atric and adult pop­u­la­tions, new­born hear­ing screen­ings, audi­to­ry reha­bil­i­ta­tion, includ­ing hear­ing aids and cochlear implants, and hear­ing conservation.

Personal Interests

I love hang­ing out with my fam­i­ly, espe­cial­ly my boys and my dogs. I enjoy going shop­ping, lis­ten­ing and danc­ing to music, play­ing piano, arts and crafts, includ­ing some minor graph­ic design­ing, and watch­ing Net­flix and Dis­ney movies. I trea­sure chats with friends, doing word puz­zles, attend­ing water parks, trav­el­ing, and rainy days in my paja­mas with a bowl of choco­late and/​or cof­fee ice cream.
