Duly Health and Care Achieves Pharmacy Accreditation with Oncology Distinction from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — Duly Health and Care announces its med­ical group, DuPage Med­ical Group, has achieved phar­ma­cy accred­i­ta­tion with a dis­tinc­tion in Oncol­o­gy through the Accred­i­ta­tion Com­mis­sion for Health Care (ACHC) for its retail phar­ma­cy program. 

Accred­i­ta­tion by ACHC reflects an organization’s ded­i­ca­tion and com­mit­ment to meet­ing nation­al stan­dards that facil­i­tate a high­er lev­el of per­for­mance and patient care.

Duly Phar­ma­cy Ser­vices has demon­strat­ed its com­mit­ment to com­pli­ance and nation­al best prac­tice stan­dards for patient care includ­ing care coor­di­na­tion and doc­u­men­ta­tion; iden­ti­fy­ing cost-sav­ing med­ica­tion options; and report­ing clin­i­cal out­comes, side and adverse effects.

Man­u­fac­tur­ers and pay­ors require spe­cial­ty phar­ma­cy accred­i­ta­tion to have access to cer­tain spe­cial­ty drugs and lim­it­ed dis­tri­b­u­tion drugs which are known to be clin­i­cal­ly com­plex, high-cost, and have strin­gent stor­age requirements.
