DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — More than 100 golfers teed off to help the DuPage Medical Group (DMG) Charitable Fund, a charitable organization created by DMG, raise more than $250,000 at its 9th Annual Golf Outing on October 1 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove.
The funds — raised through sponsorships, a silent auction, donations and more — will support select Chicagoland non-profit organizations that work to address the needs of the community by providing access to food, affordable housing and healthcare/wellness services.
“We’re grateful for everyone who supported this event and/or came out to golf with us,” said DMG Charitable Fund Advisory Board Chair Dr. Amy Stoeffler. “The funds raised will help the DMG Charitable Fund continue to provide assistance to those in need throughout the communities we serve.”
The DMG Charitable Fund supports more than 30 Chicagoland non-profit organizations through grants, volunteer service from DMG physicians, care providers and staff as well as in-kind donations such as food, toys, clothing and more. In 2017, the DMG Charitable Fund logged more than 2,500 hours of volunteer service in DuPage and Will counties.
Corporate sponsors for the golf outing included Accurate Document Destruction, Apex, Ares Management, L.P., Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Capital Strategies Investment Group LLC, Centerview Partners, Chicago Records Management, CompuCom IT Solutions, Cunningham, Meyer & Vedrine, Eckenhoff Saunders Architects, Genesis Technologies, Hogan Plumbing, Hall Prangle Schoonveld LLC, Humana, Integrated Control Technologies, ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists, Laboratory Corporation of America, Leopardo Companies, Inc., McKesson Medical-Surgical, Merchants’ Credit Guide, Nationwide Credit & Collection/CSI, Pretzel & Stouffer, Skender, The Hill Group, Westside Mechanical Design/Build Naperville and Zehnder Communications.
The DMG Charitable Fund’s next fundraiser event, the annual Care Affair Cocktail Social, will be held in early 2019.
