DuPage Medical Group Charitable Fund’s 9th Annual Golf Outing Raises More Than $250,000

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — More than 100 golfers teed off to help the DuPage Med­ical Group (DMG) Char­i­ta­ble Fund, a char­i­ta­ble orga­ni­za­tion cre­at­ed by DMG, raise more than $250,000 at its 9^th Annu­al Golf Out­ing on Octo­ber 1 at Rich Har­vest Farms in Sug­ar Grove.

The funds — raised through spon­sor­ships, a silent auc­tion, dona­tions and more — will sup­port select Chicagoland non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tions that work to address the needs of the com­mu­ni­ty by pro­vid­ing access to food, afford­able hous­ing and healthcare/​wellness services.

“We’re grate­ful for every­one who sup­port­ed this event and/​or came out to golf with us,” said DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund Advi­so­ry Board Chair Dr. Amy Sto­ef­fler. ​“The funds raised will help the DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund con­tin­ue to pro­vide assis­tance to those in need through­out the com­mu­ni­ties we serve.”

The DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund sup­ports more than 30 Chicagoland non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tions through grants, vol­un­teer ser­vice from DMG physi­cians, care providers and staff as well as in-kind dona­tions such as food, toys, cloth­ing and more. In 2017, the DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund logged more than 2,500 hours of vol­un­teer ser­vice in DuPage and Will counties.
