DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — One hundred and twenty golfers teed off to help the DuPage Medical Group (DMG) Charitable Fund, a charitable organization created by DMG, raise more than $296,000 at its 10th Annual Golf Outing on September 4 at Rich Harvest Farms.
Funds raised through sponsorships, donations and a silent auction will support various non-profit organizations in the communities DMG serves that work to provide access to food, affordable housing and healthcare/wellness services for those in need.
“We greatly appreciate the generosity of those who supported and/or attended this year’s golf outing,” said DMG Charitable Fund Advisory Board Chair Dr. Amy Stoeffler. “The funds raised will allow the DMG Charitable Fund to directly impact the lives of those in need — right here in the communities we serve.”
The DMG Charitable Fund supports more than 65 Chicagoland non-profit organizations through grants, volunteer service from DMG physicians, care providers and staff as well as in-kind donations such as food, toys, clothing and more.
Corporate sponsors for the golf outing included Ares Management, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Business IT Source, Capital Strategies Investment Group, Centerview Partners, Chicago Records Management, Inc., CompuCom, Cunningham, Meyer & Vedrine, FGS Inc., Dell Technologies, Genesis Technologies, Hogan Plumbing, ICT Controls, ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists, LabCorp, Leopardo Companies, Merchants’ Credit Guide, Nationwide Credit & Collection/CS, Norton Rose Fulbright, Pretzel & Stouffer, Sign Palace, Skender, Stamos and Trucco, Quest Diagnostics, The Hill Group, West Monroe Partners, Westside Mechanical Design/Build Naperville and Zehnder Communications.
The DMG Charitable Fund’s next fundraiser event, the annual Care Affair Cocktail Social, will be held in early 2020.
