Novem­ber is Lung Can­cer Aware­ness month. Lung can­cer is the lead­ing cause of can­cer-relat­ed death in the Unit­ed States. How­ev­er, when diag­nosed ear­ly with a low-dose CT scan, lung can­cer is more like­ly to be cur­able, with sur­vival rates jump­ing to near­ly 60 per­cent. I am most inter­est­ed in Body MRI, which includes imag­ing of the liv­er, pan­creas, kid­neys, as well as both the female pelvis and prostate MRI.
