I was impressed with Dr. Ivy. He had to schedule the actual hand surgery the following day. There was a student Dr present. He was advising her as to medical technique but also as to demeanor with very inciteful and good advice, pointing things out. I was awake, shielded from view of the surgery on my finger. He spoke to me frequently, checked on my status. I experienced no pain with local anesthetic. Instructions for post op were clear and full.

I would not recommend Dr. Ivy. I am a medical professional, and this visit was unlike anything I have experienced as either a patient or a clinician. Communication during the visit felt dismissive, and comments were made about my age/appearance and health status that I found unprofessional. The visit note documented a detailed treatment plan that was not actually discussed. One of my primary painful concerns was not meaningfully evaluated, and I left without a clear or accurate plan of care. As a result, I had to seek further evaluation in urgent care.

Dr Ivy Is a wonderful doctor. He is an excellent communicator, warm and friendly. He walked me through the xray and informed of the problem snd how to correct the problem. I highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Ivy is always excellent. He has an open , friendly manner, and is always informative and responsive to questions. He explains the origins of conditions, progression, and treatment options. He is clearly very knowledgeable and skilled. He is an excellent physician.
