"I felt like the exam was thorough and explanations were clear. I understood what needed to be done and why. I very much appreciated that I was given information with options about what shoe brands were and were not appropriate to my condition and where I could find measurements and advice about shoes and orthotics that would fit appropriately and would be able to return to these outlets if needed to have anything made right if it was not as we expected after the initial visit. I discovered when I did go to the shoe store that getting these things right is not as easy as it looks. Having appropriate understanding of my goals and information in advance of the selection of tools to help me and having confidence that my doctor trusted the folks with whom I was working allowed me to be patient and free from anxiety about my decisions."
