Wart Treatment

Warts are a common skin condition that may or may not go away without treatment. Your dermatologist may prescribe a variety of treatment options, including cantharidin to cause the formation of a blister under the wart, cryotherapy to freeze the wart, electrosurgery and curettage to scrape and burn the wart off, or excision to cut out the wart. Other procedures for hard-to-treat warts may include laser therapy, chemical peels, bleomycin shots, or immunotherapy.
