I truly enjoy helping my clients gain insight, find relief from their difficulties, make changes, and gain personal growth. My approach is strength-based and integrative. Resilience is the process and outcome of successfully adapting to difficult or challenging life experiences, especially through mental, emotional, and behavioral flexibility and adjustment to external and internal demands. I hope to help you become more resilient. Also, psychotherapy is a collaborative process. As your psychologist, I will guide you to create and help achieve your treatment goals. I will help create a safe space in which you can authentically explore your experiences while being seen, heard, and validated. Your success in treatment also depends in part on your willingness to be honest with yourself, to open up in sessions, to share any preferences you may have during the treatment process, and to make the changes that you seek. Lastly, making changes is not easy. I hope you find my light-hearted and down-to-earth approach helpful while you embark on your journey of healing and transformation.
