I believe that it is essential to consider a broad view of the patient as a whole, rather than simply treating their diagnosis and associated impairments. I enjoy brainstorming with patients to develop goals and an individualized treatment plan that will improve their ability to function within the community, and ultimately assist in returning to their prior level of function. A treatment plan is most effective when there is a total collaborative effort between the patient and all of their involved healthcare providers. I strive to provide my patients with the knowledge and tools for success to promote long-term viability and the retention of progress made with physical therapy.
