Botox for Movement Disorder


Botox ther­a­py is used to relax and con­trol mus­cles suf­fer­ing from exces­sive con­trac­tions. This may be rec­om­mend­ed for dis­or­ders such as cere­bral pal­sy, dys­to­nia, and spas­tic­i­ty. The effects typ­i­cal­ly take up to one to two weeks after the injec­tion, and can last for 3 months.
