Electrohydrolic Lithotripsy

Electrohydrolic lithotripsy is a procedure used to treat kidney, pancreatic, and bile duct stones. Electrohydrolic lithotripsy uses an electrohydraulic device to deliver high-energy shock waves to break apart stones that are too hard to pass on their own. Once broken up the stones will either pass on their own or will be extracted by your doctor during the procedure.
