Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)

Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) is a radiation treatment that is guided by imaging equipment, such as CT or X‑rays. Throughout the course of your treatment, tumors can shrink or move. Thanks to this technology, IGRT allows physicians to locate and track the tumor at the time of treatment resulting in more precise treatment and limited radiation exposure to healthy tissue.
