Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test
One simple blood draw. Screens for more than 50 cancers.
At Duly Health and Care, we know that the earlier cancer is found, the more choices patients may have for treatment and the better the potential outcomes. While traditional screenings like mammograms, colonoscopies, and skin checks are essential, they only cover a limited number of cancers. Many other cancers don’t have recommended screening tests, which means they’re often discovered at later stages.
That’s why we are now offering access to the Galleri® multi-cancer early detection test. With a single blood draw, the Galleri test screens for a signal shared by more than 50 types of cancer, identifying cancers before you may even experience symptoms.

What is a Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) Test?
A Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) test is a new type of screening tool that looks for a shared “signal” from many different cancers in your blood. By identifying abnormal DNA that may be released by cancer cells, the Galleri test can help find cancers that are often missed until symptoms appear.
The Galleri test has been shown to detect signals associated with more than 50 types of cancer, including:
- Cancers with existing screening options: breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, and prostate
*Note, this test does not replace and is used in addition to recommended screenings such as mammograms, colonoscopies, pap smears, and lung and prostate screenings. - Cancers without routine screening options: pancreatic, ovarian, esophageal, liver, kidney, stomach, and others
The Galleri test identifies DNA in the bloodstream shed by cancer cells and does not predict future genetic risk for cancer. Galleri is a screening test and does not diagnose cancer. Diagnostic testing is needed to confirm cancer.

Who should get an MCED Test?
The Galleri test is recommended for adults 50 years and older or those with a higher risk of cancer. It is used in addition to recommended screenings such as mammograms or colonoscopies.
MCED tests are available by prescription only. This test is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, under 21, or undergoing active cancer treatment.
How much does the MCED Test cost?
The Galleri test is available as a $749 cash-pay option for Duly patients or is covered by TRICARE® health plans for eligible patients ages 50 and up. Patients may be able to use pretax dollars in their flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) to pay for the Galleri test. Patients should check with their FSA/HSA administrator or insurance provider to determine eligibility.
Take an MCED Test
If your provider orders the Galleri MCED test, you can walk-in to any of our Duly lab clinics for your simple blood draw.
Your results will be shared in your MyChart account and with your provider about four weeks after your blood draw. If the test identifies a cancer signal, your provider will walk you through additional diagnostic testing, connecting you with our expert cancer care team.
