DuPage Medical Group Expands Services Offered at Lockport Medical Office Building

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — DuPage Med­ical Group (DMG) the largest inde­pen­dent, mul­ti-spe­cial­ty physi­cian group in Illi­nois, has added new ser­vices, physi­cians, spe­cial­ty depart­ments and pro­ce­dure-based treat­ments to its Lock­port Med­ical Office Build­ing locat­ed at 1206 E. 9th Street.

The 54,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facil­i­ty offi­cial­ly opened its doors in August, offer­ing a wide range of health­care ser­vices to res­i­dents of Lock­port and the sur­round­ing south suburbs.

Adding to the exist­ing ser­vices offered, which include Express Care, lab­o­ra­to­ry ser­vices, orthopaedics, phys­i­cal and occu­pa­tion­al ther­a­py, radi­ol­o­gy, spine surgery and the Sleep Cen­ter, the Lock­port facil­i­ty is now offer­ing gas­troen­terol­o­gy, inter­ven­tion­al radi­ol­o­gy and pain med­i­cine ser­vices. In addi­tion, select car­di­ol­o­gy, gas­troen­terol­o­gy, inter­ven­tion­al radi­ol­o­gy, pain med­i­cine and vas­cu­lar surgery pro­ce­dures will now be per­formed onsite.

At the Lock­port clin­ic loca­tion, spe­cial­ists per­form min­i­mal­ly inva­sive tech­niques to treat con­di­tions such as periph­er­al artery dis­ease, vari­cose veins, uter­ine fibroids and spinal frac­tures in a safe, state-of-the-art out­pa­tient cen­ter. In addi­tion, DMG’s Lock­port pro­ce­dure suite is now its fifth free-stand­ing endoscopy cen­ter in the Chicagoland area.

Also as part of the expan­sion, DMG has wel­comed six new physi­cians to its fam­i­ly med­i­cine depart­ment. The fol­low­ing fam­i­ly med­i­cine physi­cians see pedi­atric and adult patients at 1206 E. 9th Street in Lockport:

  • Dr. James Graziano is board-cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly med­i­cine. He earned his med­ical degree from Loy­ola Uni­ver­si­ty Chica­go Stritch School of Med­i­cine and com­plet­ed his res­i­den­cy in fam­i­ly med­i­cine at LaGrange Memo­r­i­al Hospital.
  • Dr. Sheri Evans is board-cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly med­i­cine. She earned her med­ical degree from Mid­west­ern Uni­ver­si­ty and com­plet­ed her res­i­den­cy in fam­i­ly med­i­cine at Adven­tist LaGrange Fam­i­ly Practice.
  • Dr. Charles Friedl is board-cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly med­i­cine. He earned his med­ical degree from Mid­west­ern Uni­ver­si­ty Chica­go Col­lege of Osteo­path­ic Med­i­cine and com­plet­ed his res­i­den­cy in fam­i­ly med­i­cine at Hins­dale Hospital
  • Dr. Jen­nifer McGowen is board-cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly med­i­cine. She earned her med­ical degree from George­town Uni­ver­si­ty School of Med­i­cine and com­plet­ed her res­i­den­cy in fam­i­ly med­i­cine at Hins­dale Hospital.
  • Dr. Man­jari Ran­ganathan is board-cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly med­i­cine. She earned her med­ical degree from Chica­go Med­ical School at Ros­alind Franklin Uni­ver­si­ty and com­plet­ed her res­i­den­cy in fam­i­ly med­i­cine at Adven­tist Med­ical Cen­ter in Hinsdale.
  • Dr. David Win­ters is board-cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly med­i­cine. He earned his med­ical degree from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Chica­go Pritzk­er School of Med­i­cine and com­plet­ed his res­i­den­cy in fam­i­ly med­i­cine at Hins­dale Hospital.
