About Brian Moran Cancer Institute

The Brian Moran Cancer Institute was named in honor of Brian J. Moran, MD (1960 – 2024), a visionary physician, teacher, and leader whose life’s work helped shape cancer care in the Chicago area and beyond.

For more than three decades, Dr. Moran dedicated his career to improving outcomes and expanding access to advanced, compassionate cancer treatment. A board-certified radiation oncologist, he was internationally recognized for his expertise in prostate brachytherapy and for pioneering new approaches that helped countless patients live longer, healthier lives.

At Duly Health and Care, Dr. Moran was more than a physician; he was an advocate for patients and a mentor to colleagues. His belief that exceptional care should be accessible to every person continues to guide the mission of the Cancer Institute that bears his name.

The Brian Moran Cancer Institute reflects his legacy of innovation, collaboration, and humanity. Through multidisciplinary care, leading-edge treatments, and a steadfast focus on the patient experience, we carry forward Dr. Moran’s vision of bringing academic-level cancer care closer to home, delivered with compassion and purpose.
