Cancer Care Support Services
Cancer care is more than treatment — it’s about caring for the whole person. At the Brian Moran Cancer Institute, we surround every patient with a network of support professionals who guide, educate, and empower you throughout your cancer journey. From the first appointment through recovery and survivorship, our team works together to help you stay strong in body, mind, and spirit.
Support designed around you
Every person’s cancer journey is different. That’s why our support programs are built to meet your unique needs, whether you’re starting treatment, managing side effects, or planning life after cancer. Our goal is to make your care easier to navigate and your experience more comfortable at every step.
Nurse navigators
Your nurse navigator is your main point of contact from diagnosis through survivorship. They help you:
- Understand your diagnosis and treatment plan

- Communicate with your care team and answer questions
- Connect you with resources for emotional and practical support
Each cancer program at the Brian Moran Cancer Institute has specialized nurse navigators who know your care pathway and are here to guide you every step of the way.
Social work services
Our oncology social workers help patients and families manage the emotional, financial, and logistical challenges of cancer. They provide counseling, connect you with community resources, and help navigate insurance or financial assistance programs. Whether you need help with transportation, caregiver support, or planning for time away from work, our social work team is here for you.
