As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread in the U.S. and across the globe, Duly Health and Care is following the latest developments and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and other key health organizations. Our most important priority is keeping our patients, employees and physicians safe.
If you’re experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness, such as fever, cough or shortness of breath or have had exposure to someone with a confirmed or suspected case of coronavirus (COVID-19), our team is equipped to test for COVID-19 and manage your condition.Testing for non-symptomatic patients is available on a walk-in basis at all Duly lab locations. Drive-thru testing for symptomatic patients is available at our Lisle clinic.A testing order is required prior to visiting any of our testing locations.
COVID-19 Vaccine Updates
Getting vaccinated, along with safety measures like social distancing and masking, is critical in the fight to end the COVID-19 pandemic. All presently available vaccines offer substantial reduction in the risk of severe COVID illness, hospitalization and death.
June 23, 2022 — Scheduling for the COVID-19 vaccine is now available for our youngest patients, ages 6 months and up, through MyChart. The two-dose Moderna COVID-19 vaccine series is available for ages 6 months — 5 years of age at our Glen Ellyn and Tinley Park clinics and the three-dose Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine series is available for ages 6 months — 4 years of age at our Lisle clinic.
March 28, 2022 - The CDC has strengthened its COVID-19 Vaccine booster recommendations:
Booster:
All adults, 18 and older should receive an mRNA COVID-19 booster at least 5 months following their initial vaccine series.
Everyone 12-17 years old should receive a Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 booster at least 5 months after their initial Pfizer vaccines series.
Those ages 5-11 that are moderately or severely immunocompromised should receive an additional dose of the Pfizer vaccine 28 days after their initial dose.
Second Booster
Adults over 50 who have health concerns that could make them more prone to severe COVID illness.
Adults over 65 regardless of their health status.
