JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC is an FDA approved filler used to almost instantly add volume to the cheek area.
JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC corrects the age-related volume loss that takes place in the cheek area, resulting in sagging skin or a hollow appearance.
JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC is comprised of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring, hydrating substance found in your skin. With age, hyaluronic acid decreases, causing the skin to lose volume and structure. JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC is unique, by that it can last up to two years, give almost immediate results and has been designed to restore facial volume, not just fill in wrinkles like many other fillers do.

1 syringe of Voluma was injected into each upper cheek (2 syringes total) to help lift the face and restore lost volume. The results last approximately two years. Also, 1 syringe of Juvederm Ultra Plus was injected into the corners of the mouth to help diminish the "frown" that occurs with aging. Performed by Dr. James Herrmann.

The patient was injected with 2 syringes of Voluma in to the cheekbones and mid-cheek to lift the face and jowls. She also received 2 syringes of Juvederm Ultra Plus to create a more definitive chin and fill in the marionette lines. Fillers were performed by Dr. Berggren.
